Wednesday,  25th  March 2015 – the seventh day of  our stay in Kayseri.

As usual the day started with the workshops called “Adobe Flash  applications in education”, led by Mr Alpay  Gunes. We got to know the tools for creating computer animations. The conducting person introduced in detail the process of  creating educational materials with the use of program Adobe Flash and animations in Basic Flash. Supervised by Mr Alpay we did some practice using the skills which we got when using an interactive board. Next we saw the … of the ready interactive animations created in program Flash. Those applications are used for educational purposes and the teacher from all over the country are their creators.

The culminating point of the workshops was a fierce discussion concerning the future of this tool in education and the progress of IT.

On this day we also had a pleasure to visit  Erclyes University. It is the equivalent of the Polish Higher Teacher Education School. The rector of the university showed us round. We took part in the mathematic classes for the students in the fourth year. The students were preparing for teaching this subject in a primary school. We were also guests at the classes for students of sociology and chemistry. The representatives of the university authorities introduced the system of recruitment for studies and the system of evaluation of students and the social support. Together we compared the system of education requirements for students in our countries.
